Our Mission
Petagogy was founded in 2011 by two couples (and friends) Ben Huber, Elsie Lampl, Heather Blum and Cole Wolfson. An idea that started over beers has grown from one 600 sq ft retail store in Shadyside to five Pittsburgh-area locations. Additionally, our first employee, Allison Stetz, joined the ownership team in 2016. Our three “founding” dogs, Deeka, Jack and Bumble Bee, are the inspiration behind Petagogy; you’ll recognize them by their silhouettes on our logo!
UPCOMING EVENTS
Petagogy is proactively involved with our local community. Be sure to mark your calendar for our upcoming pet events in Cranberry Township!

Pet Photos with Santa at Petagogy Cranberry
Bring your pets to Petagogy Cranberry for photos with Santa taken by local pet photographer Jessica Wasik of Bark & Gold Photography! Jessica will take a free digital photo of your pet(s) sitting with Santa and provide options for ordering high resolution digital images, prints and more!* Pets will be seen on a first come, first served basis and should be comfortable around other animals and people. In addition to the free low resolution digital photo, participants will have the option of ordering the following items directly from the photographer after the event: high quality prints, ornaments, magnets and high resolution digital images (please note: no holiday cards will be offered for sale; instead, we recommend buying the high resolution digital image to create your own holiday cards on sites like Shutterfly, Minted, etc.). We will not be scheduling special appointments; however, we will do our best to accommodate pets who are nervous around others. If your pet has trouble around other animals or people, please find a Petagogy employee before getting in line and we’ll move you and your animal to a different area until it is their turn to see Santa. Dogs must be on leashes (no retractable leashes, please). Cats and small animals must be in carriers. *Free photo will be available for download from Bark & Gold Photography's Facebook page within a week after the event and will be low resolution (suitable for social media sharing). Prints, high resolution digital images and other items will also be available for purchase from Bark & Gold Photography after the event. Check out last year's photos! Please email info@petagogy.com with any questions!
